Taranaki is something of a specialist over this trip and has been well placed to win three times already during the current campaign. Peter Cundell's charge ws a little below par last time but would have solid claims on earlier efforts and has the services of a useful apprentice. Transit is still a maiden but has shown a consistent level of form and this pacey sort won't be inconvenienced by the drop back in trip. Princess Almora is well treated on her best but Bold King may find underfoot conditions too quick.
