Verdict

DESERT ICON is not an easy horse to catch right but he might be able to swoop on Humidor late on to pick up the top prize. William Knight's gelding can be a tricky ride but the promising Harry Bentley is getting to know him and hopefully he can build on an eye-catching third here earlier in the month. Hand Painted, Sharpened Edge and Fivefold all look well-handicapped, whilst Humidor was easy enough to back when winning at Brighton and he can continue his progression for his new yard. Seamus Shindig is 'thrown-in' on his old form but along with Safari Mischief doesn't come here in great nick, so a bigger threat might be the top-weight Perfect Flight who runs this track well.
