Verdict

Espresso Time, a 26,000 guinea yearling, comes from a yard brimming with juvenile talent. He is the selected runner from the stable, who had no less than four entries in this event. Leitrim Rock, a brother to a juvenile winner in Italy, may need further than this, as his dam was a winner over middle-distances. Sir Edwin Landseer, a half-brother to a winner in the States, may prove the biggest danger. Both of the runners with experience, Richard and Revolving, showed little on their debuts, and will have to improve to figure here.
