Verdict

There's plenty of debutants in this fillies maiden so the market might provide our best guide to these young ladies but the opening run for LA PANTERA was promising enough to land a tentative selection from us ahead of Anjomarba, Baoli and Flyinflyout. The pick was well supported on debut but ran a little too green to do herself justice. The penny dropped late on during that run and she should be sharper this time over a trip that looks more suitable. Anjomarba is the only other to have experienced racing before and while she has been on fair form her experience is a big plus against so many newcomers. Baoli is bred to be successful over these sorts of trips as a juvenile and is entitled to go well on debut as is Flyinflyout who is related to plenty of winners but she may need a bigger stamina test in time. A difficult race to assess with so little form but we think La Pantera can improve after a promising debut and score.
