    Verdict

Mark Hopkins can't have given his true running at Salisbury and remains unexposed. Star Rider made a promising reappearance here last month over 1m4f. Cotton Club will be staying on when others have cried enough and Spice Fair is still capable of holding his own in this grade but All Talk N No Do and Noble Silk both lack a recent run. MONOTYPE's second over course and distance last month is the stand-out form in this and Roger Varian's charge can recoup losses off only a 2lb higher mark.
