In depth

Verdict

Golden Chalice deserves a change of luck having finished runner-up on all four starts to date including a Pontefract handicap off a mark of 79. A reproduction may suffice at this level while Vortex is entitled to improve for his debut at Newmarket and rates a danger. Court Circle ran green on his Kempton debut earlier in the month but shaped promisingly and should improve significantly with the outing under his belt.
