      Verdict

      No public form to go on so the selection of Classic Guest over Bint Il Sultan and Trempjane is based more on theoretical assumption than it is known fact at this stage. However, as Mick Channon has stepped things up a gear with his string over the last few weeks, it can safely be concurred that he is confidently expecting to collect by sending two against the field in tonight's opener. Many of the quintet of the selection's rivals are likely to be seen to better effect over further in time so, as the one with the more eye-catching pedigree suited to this trip, this 100,000gns purchase appeals the most here. Channon did well with Classic Guest's half-sister, Mac Love when he raced as a juvenile and, as such, this daughter of Xaar looks the percentage call in a race that poses more questions than it answer beforehand.
