Verdict

Border Music deserves to win a race of this nature after a string of fine efforts in defeat but may again have to settle for a minor role with preference for Master Theo, who gets the verdict over Tranquil Sky. The selection has shown improved form in a firstly a classified stakes race at Leicester then more recently a Lingfield maiden on Wednesday of late and it is interesting that trainer Hugh Collingridge turns him out quickly again. The three-year-old looks to be potentially well treated now and gets the nod over Tranquil Sky. Neville Callaghan's filly often flatters to deceive and has proven to be expensive to follow since her win at Brighton in July but has to be feared on her best. Richard Hannon saddles two with little to separate Enford Princess and Lord Links and very few clues to be gleaned from the jockey bookings. Barry Hills has his string in good form at present so Mrs Pankhurst has to be respected, while Andrew Balding's Border Music can be expected to run his usual good race. However, Master Theo looks to be on the upgrade at present and gets the vote.
