Dora Penny completed a four-timer in Class 5 handicaps, all under David Probert, then was beaten twice at this level before landing a Class 4 at Ffos Las for which she's been raised 4lb. Lovely Breeze went up 8lb for landing a course and distance handicap and couldn't cope in the Silver Cup at Ayr and though Spanish Star is running well he's now been beaten three times off this mark. CHIEFOFCHIEFS (NAP) hasn't won since landing a Wokingham consolation handicap at Ascot in 2020 but he's run some cracking races in defeat including when a close fifth in last year's Stewards' Cup here. His previous two runs in this grade resulted in victories and he can give the weight away. Lihou, only beaten a length in a Class 2 handicap here in July, could provide the main threat.
