Verdict

Knight's Parade and Solvanna have both gone close on the Polytrack of late but a handful of these have more scope for improvement. STAR OF MAYFAIR finished fourth over a mile at Haydock last week and breeding suggests he'll appreciate this longer trip more than recent Epsom third Couloir Extreme. Alan Jarvis' colt gets the nod ahead of the handicap debutants Eton Rambler, Countess Lovelace and Platinum Proof in a wide-open contest.
