Verdict

Prove The Point made a bright start when narrowly beaten at Tipperary and was sent to Leopardstown for a Group 3 but couldn't handle the step-up. This looks more her class while Verbosity stayed on so strongly over 6f at Naas that the longer trip is certain to suit. Mr Michael took an age to warm to his task over 6f at Leopardstown but stayed on well once the penny dropped while Whiskey Sour caught the eye over that trip at Fairyhouse and is one to note in the market. PALMETTO DUNES made his debut in a four-runner race at Leopardstown and could only finish third but the pair who finished in front of him are very useful and he'll have been earmarked for this so gets the nod. David Wachman has won the last two of these so the newcomer Ocean Tides is interesting.
