Verdict

Another Festival draws to a close with a strong bumper where nine of the ten entries have won at least one race. Blase Chevalier is unbeaten in two runs but is taking on much better company as is Golden Desert, who gained a comfortable debut success at Downpatrick. Bless N'Ject has been a little disappointing after his Ballinrobe victory where he had subsequent winner Peak Oil a long way behind. Sallyanka has run poorly in two maiden hurdles after completing a double in bumpers but the one to be on is the four-year-old filly BLOSSOM GATE, who made a hugely impressive debut when slamming a big field at Cork and has the Flat speed to see off these rivals.
