In depth

Verdict

Most of these enter the fray out of form though not COOLE AVENUE, who can continue his progress despite another leap in the weights. Tom Cooper's charge has done well since stepping up to 3m and gained an impressive victory at Listowel though he was always travelling nicely and the drop back in trip shouldn't prove a problem. Eagle's Pass is probably better over fences these days but is on a fair mark and his last two runs over timber point to his chances here. Clashnabrook was in fine form over hurdles in the spring and reappeared over fences at Tramore a couple of weeks ago but ran poorly. He's better than that and there should be more progress to come as there should be from Two In A Row, who may have found 3m stretching his stamina behind the selection last time. Cherryantor ran badly at Limerick last time but is better judged on his earlier success at Roscommon and isn't out of this.
