Raydari improved tremendously on the Flat over the winter and was well supported on his return to hurdling at Roscommon where he won with something in hand. The assessor was certainly impressed, raising him an astonishing 18lb, but that still shouldn't prevent a big run. Carlowsantana is rated 17lb less over hurdles than fences so it's no surprise to see him turning up here and he'll enjoy any cut in the ground while Admiral Hawke showed much improved form when attempting to make the running at Gowran and must be in with a shout here as he was only caught close home. ALADDINS CAVE landed a Fairyhouse handicap the last time he was seen over timber in November. He then completed a quick double on Polytrack at Dundalk and has been running well in strong handicaps on the Flat so this looks his chance from a favourable handicap mark. Anshan Dreams won a handicap here in September and has to be considered despite his big weight.
