Verdict

BLOW BY BLOW followed a very easy victory in a Thurles Grade 3 over hurdles by landing the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham. He looks a smart recruit to the chasing ranks and should start off with a victory. Dorans River won a bumper and scored three times over hurdles and was still in touch when falling 2 out on his chasing debut at Limerick. Chateau Conti was a smart hurdler on his day and though failing to get round in his opening runs over fences should have learnt from his mistakes and would be a threat if getting it right. The remainder will all need to improve to get involved.
