No favourite has won in the past ten years but it's a race Dermot Weld loves to win and he's been successful in four of the last seven, two with Robbie McNamara in the saddle. Pay Day Kitten is the stable pick this time and though she looked a very progressive type last season potential backers would need to forgive a very poor reappearance at Leopardstown. UK raider John Quinn has booked champion point-to-point rider Jamie Codd for Swynmor though he went up a massive 14lb for his Chester victory.
