In depth

Verdict

EARLS QUARTER put a couple of moderate bumper efforts behind him to gain an impressive success at Sligo and looks the one to beat. Natural High defied a bad mistake at the second last to land a maiden here just five days after being beaten on the Flat. He should do well at this game as should Rebel Fitz, who looked a very promising type when beating a huge field at Cork. Loch Long appeared to find 3m stretching his stamina at Kilbeggan after gaining a comfortable success over 2m4f at Ballinrobe.
