The front-running PRESENTING MAHLER won this last year and is back on the same mark. He made all and jumped his rivals silly at Listowel last month before leading for most of the way when tackling 2m4f over hurdles at Ballinrobe. He's taken to go in again though there are plenty of dangers including Penny Jane, a very consistent performer who hasn't run for over a year but starts out in handicaps off what looks a lenient mark. Henry De Bromhead has three entries and Show And Go may prove best of them having had two runs over hurdles since completing a double over fences with a victory here in August. Gentleman Duke is gradually getting back to his best and was only headed on the line by Jack Slade over slightly further at Downpatrick. Fenlon's Hill has a course and distance victory to his credit and the assessor looks to have given him a chance.
