In depth

Verdict

DRAKES WELL came up short when odds-on at Stratford last time but a conditional takes 7lb off his back today and David Bridgewater’s charge can open his account in this company. Belle Jour had an off-day at Kempton having earlier finished third at Plumpton while Master Malcolm placed at Aintree last time. The remainder have shown little over hurdles so far though Iron In The Soul has won between the flags.
