Prouts Pub had a couple of outings under his belt before winning last year’s renewal but hasn’t raced since March this time around. Darebin is upped 6lb for winning at Lingfield last month but should go well again, though he was well beaten by DISPUTED (NAP) at Plumpton earlier this year. The latter was placed at Newbury in a Class 2 hurdle recently and Chris Gordon’s charge can come out best in this lower grade with a similar effort. Canton Prince was expected to fare better at Musselburgh last time but could only manage fourth while Cool Sky looks better treated than Divine Spear with the latter having his first start since April.
