Verdict

Fitzwilliam has been well beaten in both hurdle races so far at Newbury but in better company than this. Fizzlestix has even more to prove so we'll concentrate on the two newcomers. Bob Stephens could have a nice prospect on his hands in the shape of MR CAFFREY, who only had three runs on the Flat but was second in a Navan maiden in October and has a staying pedigree. He's preferred to Searching, who won a Chester handicap over 1m4f in the spring and should also do well over timber.
