Verdict

Cypress Grove is a quirky individual and though finishing well ahead of ALTERANTHELA here in the spring we'll take Richard Rowe's charge to come out on top today on 13lb better terms and a much easier surface. The selection was beaten a neck by Volio Vincente in this last year on his reappearance but is also much better off at the weights with that one. Promised Wings' second to Royal Palladium at Lingfield was boosted when the winner scored earlier this week but he was beaten 18 lengths. Gair Leat has plenty of weight for what he's achieved.
