Verdict

Call Me Sid sprung a 100/1 shock at Ludlow but the runner-up has been beaten again since whereas second King Of The Realms has franked the debut success of DARCY WARD at Taunton. Jack Barber’s charge is an embryo chaser but can double his tally over timber under his penalty. Puppet Warrior has only found too good in three of his four starts over hurdles but doesn’t appear to be progressing. The opposite is true of Aptly Put, who has been far from disgraced at Hereford and Fakenham this term and looks a likely type for handicaps. Niblawi should also find a race before the end of the campaign and is the pick of his stable’s two runners but Jersey Bean is in danger of becoming disappointing and looks held on the form book.
