A weak affair and a chance is given to Haikal while Douceur des Songes, Fountain Bank and Sovereign rate the main dangers. Robert Buckler's gelding has proved frustrating of late but has slipped down to a most attractive mark and showed signs of a return to winning ways when chasing home a fair yardstick in a selling handicap at Newton Abbot last time. This race is little better and off the same mark, the six-year-old should give a good account under an experienced conditional. Douceur des Songes was a convincing winner of a Worcester claimer last time but that race took very little winning and Martin Pipe's mare has more to do back in handicap company off her current mark. Sovereign has shown a consistent level of form of late and has place prospects while top weight Fountain Bank was outclassed last time but has claims on his Uttoxeter success in late June but Haikal is the percentage call.
