Sonoma is our call with Monsieur Delage and Flying Spirit the alternatives. The mare has been in fair old nick of late and was not too far away last time at Worcester. She won't be wanting for effort from the saddle. Monsieur Delage's recent victory was given a big boost on Tuesday night as the fourth placed runner won readily. Flying Spirit would be a shoe in at his best but he does not seem to find the idea of winning to be too palatable. Chunky Lad is exposed as moderate but tries gamely in this grade. Ex-pointer Lost Treasure appears to need partuicularly robust handling and Richard Johnson has gone elsewhere. Liam Corcoran does well with other's castoffs so Award Winning is noted in the market. Crafty Lady, along with plenty of these, is just moderate. Not a race to be stopping traffic and Sonoma is put up to minimal stakes.
