    Verdict

This is a wide open handicap hurdle and many would have chances on their best form but Ice Crystal, Bobsleigh and Radbrook Hall look to be leading lights and the narrow vote is given to the last mentioned. The selection is lightly-raced and has shaped encouragingly on his last two starts. This is his first try in a handicap and he may be worth chancing. Ice Crystal won at Warwick last time when beating Villa but it was a race in which the principals never got competitive and the form may not be all that reliable. Bobsleigh finished behind Ice Crystal in that Warwick race and he may well have bounced after a previous game effort at Plumpton behind Jaloux D'Estruval. If he can run up to that level again here then he would have sound claims. Geography won well last time and is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Radbrook Hall.
