Verdict

THE CIDER MAKER shrugged off an 11lb hike in the weights for winning at Plumpton to score again at the same track last month. He won with plenty in hand last time so a hat-trick looks on the cards for Colin Tizzard's progressive chaser. Fight Commander also ran well upped 9lb last time for winning at Huntingdon earlier but Badger Wood failed to complete on his latest start having won at Taunton before that. Bold Conquest is unexposed over fences and recent efforts over hurdles suggest he could make his presence felt.
