Verdict

Here Comes Harry, Bright Green and Ashgan are three against the field in a wide open finale and the vote is given to Here Comes Harry. The selection disappointed last time out but prior to that he had been in good form. This faster surface should suit and off what looks a handy mark he looks the value bet in an open affair. Bright Green rates the main danger on his latest second behind Festival Flyer. The fitting of first time cheek pieces could also help and he should be noted in the market. Ashgan was a fair fifth behind Kings Castle last time and will appreciate the step up in trip. Fireside Legend would have chances on his best form but he has failed to complete the course in his last two runs so can not be backed with confidence. Of the remainder Newtown was a fair second behind Ask The Umpire last time and is another with place claims but he is far from consistent and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Here Comes Harry.
