In depth

Verdict

More quantity than quality here and Josh Gifford, who had the top weight Rosco in this at the five days, relies upon Camdenation to carry the Findon flag. The seven-year-old will be much happier back over this trip having found two and a half miles too sharp for him. He is a tentative choice to land this prize. Jim Jam Joey, without a win for three years, will find this easier than some of his tasks of late and is certainly not out of this, despite top weight. Emphatic has two ways of running, but there is no doubt he is more than capable if the mood takes him. Central Committee will be al the better for his recent outing and if the ground continues to dry out, he will be a danger to all. Others to consider in an open contest include stablemate Laazim Afooz and handicap debutante Phar City.
