Winning has not come easily to this field but two or three have been knocking on the door. Jungle Prose and Ballydoyle continue to apply themselves in a solid, consistent manner and look to be in with a shout once again, whilst Salamanca School brings very different credentials to the table as a four-year-old making his handicap bow after showing some promise in juvenile hurdles. The ex-Mark Johnston inmate from the Flat is an interesting contender. However, NYE BEVAN has gone close in fair Class 5 handicaps the last twice and should go well off a feasible mark for his 10lb conditional. The unexposed Big Jimbo is a possible too if forgiven his latest effort.
