A modest contest in which stakes should probably be kept to a minimum. Sir Hubert has done most of his racing so far at Plumpton but has been showing gradual improvement. Highbury High was third over a shorter trip here at the start of the month reverting to hurdles. Leg Lock Luke was third at Chepstow last month, though still beaten more than 30 lengths. SONG OF THE NIGHT may have seen too much daylight when a well-beaten third at Newton Abbot on his handicap debut. If ridden with more restraint here, he could finally open his account.
