This selling hurdle can go the way of course and distance winner STANCE who gets the vote ahead of Fishguard Filly and Santarctique. The selection ran well behind Heir To Be over this course and distance last time and he does tend to reserve his best for this venue. The yard do well here and they are in fair form so he makes plenty of appeal. Fishguard Filly has been in really good form and she does appear to be on an upward curve, but there is a worry that she might find this trip a little on the sharp side. Santarctique has been a bit disappointing so far this season but he is eased in grade and the yard are beginning to have the odd winner after being in the doldrums for a while. Skipper's Lad brought up the tail last time out but he was entitled to need the run and he is another that is eased in grade. Stance goes well here and he can make up for his narrow defeat last time out.
