In depth

Verdict

RED RISING (NAP) beat a subsequent hurdles winner in a point-to-point a year ago and looked one to follow when making a winning start under Rules at Catterick in February. Stamina is clearly not a problem and he has bags of scope. Bangor maiden winner Dingo Dollar should find this easier than the Grade 2 he contested last time at Doncaster and he’s rated 8lb higher than Black Valentine, well beaten in both starts since winning at Wincanton in November. Queens Present did win at Plumpton back in October but she’s looking a bit exposed nowadays.
