Verdict

Shaddaii is building towards a victory and has been left on the same mark despite a very good run at Taunton so Robert Walford's grey looks sure to give a good account. Sea The Springs found 2m1f too short at Plumpton but was staying on and this is more like his trip. He had the favourite Sir Hubert behind that day and should confirm the form but top weight Lovely Bubbly has been beaten a long way in handicaps after a fair effort in a Plumpton maiden. WHATTHEBUTLERSAW was beaten in a seller in May but produced easily his best run over hurdles when narrowly beaten into third at Exeter after leading at the last. This shouldn't take much winning and a similar run can see him gain his first victory over timber.
