In depth

Verdict

Great Knight is far from convincing but he may still be good enough to slay these rivals although there's not a great deal to choose between a few of these. The selection has finished in the money on all four starts showing a similar level of form on each occasion. The form is not outstanding but may well be good enough to win this contest if he can perform to a similar level once again. Lithaam looks out of his depth and In Toto may fare better once handicapping whilst Filemot is of interest on the form of her debut but she failed to figure on quick ground at Yarmouth last time. Hucking Harmony, Miss Poppy and Town And Gown are all entitled to come on for their reappearances. All three revert to maiden company from handicaps and there's not a great deal to choose between them; this could turn out to be another tight contest but Great Knight may be able to do the honours.
