In depth

Verdict

Kid Charlemagne gets the confident vote here with Uncle Eli and Matcho Pierji rating the main dangers, The selection remained unbeaten in bumpers, has reportedly schooled well at home, will relish conditions and with his yard in form he is taken to win this before going on to better things. Matcho Pierji rates the main danger - he has a BHB rating of 110. However he has had plenty of chances without taking one and is opposable on that basis. Uncle Eli was a fair second behind Crescent Island in a bumper, he is another that is sure to have been well schooled and he should be watched in the market. Regal Quote is another that shaped with promise on his debut and is sure to improve but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Oh Crick is another that has ran with promise but he will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie and with this in mind for the winner we return to Kid Charlemagne.
