Verdict

MYSAYNOWAY is the form pick to break his maiden tag under rules with both Reymysterio and New Street Express worth noting in the betting market. The selection has plenty of form between the flags to his name and is trained by top point to point trainer Laurnie Hill. He has finished second in two decent open races of late and although winless in fifteen runs under rules he has run some fine races in defeat. If he can recapture his recent form he is sure to be in the shake up come the business end of the race. Reymyserio pulled up on his only other run under rules at this meeting last year. Since then he has shown form in point to points, finishing second no less than four times this season. He has looked a little unlucky in a couple of those defeats and in such a moderate contest he should be respected. New Street Express is another to have poor form in Hunter Chases but he did manage to gain a success between the flags last time out so comes into this race in good form and should be monitored in the betting market. This race will not take much winning but it is competitive all the same.
