AROMATIC may provide the solution to this tricky puzzle; Entreat and Polly's Mark are other to bear in mind, while Silken Promise is steadily getting the hang of things and is very much a long term prospect. The last named, like the majority, is running for a handicap mark today and can be placed to good effect from here. Having finished behind Entreat when they met at Sandown, she already has improvement to find; so she may be best watched with interest this afternoon. Polly's Mark is proving to be consistent and it will be surprising if she cannot find a race before too long. Phillip Robinson knows the daughter of Mark of Esteem well and another bold show can be expected from the partnership. Entreat ran well on her reappearance and, as a half-sister to a number of winners at a variety of trips; she also is a likely candidate to rid herself of the maiden tag. Ten furlongs was no problem for her at Sandown last month and, as the daughter of Pivotal is sure to be fitter for the run, she may be the biggest threat to the selection. However, Aromatic is also bred to be effective at this sort of trip and, having shown plenty of promise on her sole start as a juvenile, she can be fancied to step things up a notch - especially given how well the form of her debut is working out.
