Verdict

Sunset Strip, Orpen Annie and Spaced look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the confident vote goes to Sunset Strip. The selection was a good second on his debut behind Leo's Lucky Star. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Orpen Annie rates the main danger on his latest third behind Missperon but he will need to improve again to beat the selection. Spaced is another that could go well but he gave the impression he would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Fairmile is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Sunset Strip.
