      Verdict

Ela Jay, Cansalrun and Shaadiva are all worthy of respect, but Researcher gets the confident vote. The selection beat Sovereign's Gift at Exeter last time with the front two coming well clear of the rest of the field. That was only a weak race, but this is no better, Cansalrun looks the main danger to Researcher and she stayed on well behind Gideon Putnam at Chepstow last time. She is a consistent type and should run our selection close. Shaadiva is another that has shown fair form and she looks to be getting the hang of things over hurdles so could still be open to improvement. Ela Jay unseated her rider last time over hurdles but has shown fair form on the flat and could go well granted a clear round. The rest will have to improve to feature at the finish, so we are happy to side with Researcher.
