In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap here and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Brandywine Bay, Mr Uppity and Tiny Tim and the tentative vote goes to Brandywine Bay. The selection was fifth behind Pretty Kool last time out in a better race and although the drop in trip is a slight worry he is taken to win this poor contest . Mr Uppity rates the main danger as he was a good second behind My Girl Pearl last time and with the step up in trip sure to suit he will not be far away. Tiny Tim is another that could go well as he was a fair second behind Bronx Bomber last time and has place claims but he has had plenty of chances and only has one victory to his name and for that reason he is opposed. Nassau Street is dropping in class and distance and is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Badou has dropped to a handy mark and goes well at this time of year but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Brandywine Bay.
