In depth

Verdict

His Masters Voice won a shade cosily last time out and can follow up this afternoon, Apply Dapply and Kew The Music are also expected to run well. David Arbuthnot's four-year-old had been improving nicely before beating some decent types in a class four contest at Lingfield. The racing post comment was readily which suggests there was plenty left in the locker and in this slightly lower grade he must have strong claims. Apply Dapply ended the last campaign with an excellent second at Nottingham. That was on heavy ground so any rain would help his cause. Kew The Music has been running well over the past few weeks and doesn't look badly treated on his return to the turf. However His Masters Voice has to be the pick on this occasion.
