In depth

Verdict

Peter Winkworth does pretty well with his runners in bumpers and his representative here, Well Refreshed, has to be strongly considered having put up an improved performance when running well when third behind Ohio Gold at Wincanton last month but BENS MOOR looks worth chancing on his rules debut and gets the vote with Sebennytos rated the best of the rest. The selection does have racing experience having won his only start in a point-to-point in Ireland in January and he looks worth backing on his rules debut for Tim Vaughan. Cloudy Wager makes limited appeal on pedigree, while Nick Giffford's Oscar Papa is bred to be decent over hurdles and fences but is probably best watched on his racing debut unless the market speaks in his favour. Colin Tizzard's Lanhydrock was well beaten first time up and of more interest may be the Warren Greatrex-trained Sebennytos, who was similarly beaten a long way on his debut but comes from a yard that does well with their runners in this grade. There are just the six runners to choose form here and Bens Moor makes plenty of appeal on his rules debut and can follow up his point success.
