    In depth

    Verdict

Second to a decent sort at Taunton in March, DESQUE DE L’ISLE (NAP) has won both starts this season at Lingfield yet is still getting 4lb from last month’s Newton Abbot winner The Raven's Return and 9lb from Court Royale, who has been raised 4lb for getting back to winning ways on fast ground at Taunton. Rostello has the scope to make a better chaser than hurdler and has wind surgery since last seen. The five-year-old also wears cheekpieces for the first time.
