Verdict

Katchmore has been keeping better company since notching a double at Taunton and Exeter in March but his ability to see out this trip is questionable whereas stablemate DECOY stays further. The six-year-old galloped his rivals into the ground on soft ground at Worcester last month and was clearly a long way below his best when well behind Lava Lamp over this C&D in March. Ivan Vasilevich is in good form and won over 2m3f at Fontwell last week. He has a penalty to carry here but is still preferred to the inconsistent Dealing River and Lieutenant Miller, who was pulled when favourite at Cartmel last month.
