In depth

Verdict

Piccadilly Lilly won a maiden at Auteuil on heavy ground in 2020 and was thrown in at the deep end on her debut for Alan King at Ascot last month so much better is expected. JAUNTY FREYJA landed a heavy-ground handicap at Chepstow and has continued in good form and, though she's now 15lb higher than that victory, she can go in again. Triple Nickle was in double-winning form on quick ground last summer while Dicey Rielly makes her handicap debut on a low enough mark. Heure De Gloire was well supported when dropped into Class 5 company at Plumpton but was well beaten while Minnie Escape's good run on her penultimate start here was also in that lower grade.
