Verdict

Mark Johnston, always a handler to take on older horses with three-year-old inmates at an earlier stage than most, has already been rewarded with a series of winners this term. YORKEE MO SABEE can to add to the tally, having impressed on his seasonal reappearance when making all in decisive fashion over the Carlisle mile. A rise of 6lb seems fair and he could well be the sort to run up a sequence. The ground is fine and the drop in trip should not inconvenience his anticipated front-running style. Guiding Light should be all the better for his reappearance run after a year off but the concession of 11lb to the selection may prove a bridge too far and Destroyer, another three-year-old, could prove the main danger if back to the level of a Sandown success three starts ago. Midnight Rider's improved latest effort brings him into the equation too.
