Verdict

IMPERIAL ESPRIT has been raised 10lb for winning at Uttoxeter on his chasing debut. But that was his first start after wind surgery and there should be more to come from Harry Fry’s charge at this level. Kingston King won a chase at Newton Abbot during the summer but remains 6lb higher and Sartene's Son returns to the larger obstacles 5lb higher than when scoring over timber at the start of the year. Wax And Wane will appreciate the soft ground and is expected to improve on last month’s chasing bow at Bangor when fading in the closing stages.
