In depth

Verdict

Floresco ran very well behind the odds-on Zulu Oscar at Taunton but did give the impression that an extra half-mile wouldn't come amiss. Another German import, Global Thrill, was third over course and distane on debut and should have more to offer but this can go to GLOBALISATION. The ex-pointer made a winning start under Rules in an Aintree bumper and the switch to hurdles can wrest further improvement. Dr Robin may be improving while jockey bookings would suggest Clyne is the pick of Evan Williams' three debutants.
