In depth

Verdict

It remains to be seen if Charles Camoin and Guising turn up after holding engagements elsewhere earlier in the weekend. Astra Hall has recorded two victories and a third from her three previous course and distance runs. She's a couple of pounds out of the handicap today but is much better than she showed at Goodwood and whatever finishes in front of her will probably win. DIVERGENCE may be that one having produced an excellent run to finish fourth in the Melrose at York last time. This is far less competitive and Michael Bell's filly arrives in much better form than Miss Cap Estel and Pitchoun. She should also have too much pace for hurdler Solaras Exhibition.
